Shadow moire is an optical technique that projecting a collimated light source through a glass plate with lines etched on it. The shadows of these lines are projected onto the structure and generate interference fringes that register the shape contour of the tested objects.
Features of Shadow Moire
- Measurement of Shapes and deformations.
- Visualized method showing the contour directly.
- Sensitivity can be changed with the density of etched lines and the projected angles.
