Nor150 sound and vibration analyzer is the latest class 1 analyzer Norsonic provided, and it can provide high quality measurements to the field. It has a 4.3” true-color touchscreen, which provides users friendliness of a smartphone. It also has a built-in camera and provide text and vocal recording, so we can take notes we found in the field. It supports 4G LTE, WIFI communications, and GPS, so it can be used for environmental monitoring. For building acoustic applications, it provides program that meets the tests requirements of ISO 16283, ISO 717-1 and ISO 717-2. Nor150 also provide a second channel for sound intensity probe support, so it can conduct sound intensity measurements as well as sound power measurements that according to ISO 9614 standard.

Ø Nor145 Sound Level Meter
Nor145 is a class 1 sound level meter designed for environmental noise measurements, which also provides a 4.3” true-color touchscreen, GPS, and supports 4G LTE and WIFI communications. We can connect to a Nor145 with NorVirtual and NorConnect through internet. Combining a Nor145 with a Nor1545 Noise Monitoring Terminal, we can build a permanent outdoor noise monitoring station.

Ø Nor1545 Noise Monitoring Terminal
Nor1545 noise monitoring terminal provides a built-in GPS, electric power supply (mains power, 12V internal battery as backup power), IP camera and internet communication (LAN/4G LTE/WIFI) support. The enclosure provides IP66 water/dust proof (can upgrade to IP67), so it is suitable for outdoor noise monitoring. Nor1545 supports weather station, and we can install a Nor1297 Noise Compass on it to detect the direction where a measured noise comes from.

Nor1297 noise compass can show which direction a measured noise comes from. It can be installed with a Nor1545 noise monitor terminal, directly below a Norsonic outdoor microphone. We can use NorCloud services to see the measurement results with a smartphone, pad and laptop through the internet, the results with be combined with the geographic data to show the relative direction of the source. It will help us to find the real cause of a noise and find a better solution.

Ø Measurement System Nor850:It consists of hardware and software. The hardware part can be Nor850-MF, which can be expand to a 10 channels data acquisition frontend. We can also use Nor140, Nor145 and Nor150 as the data acquisition frontend. The software part has 4 modules:
1. General Analyzer Mode:This module provides signal analysis, which includes time signal, spectral, and spectrogram analysis. We can also set up thresholds for Go/NoGo output operator.
2. Building Acoustic Mode:This module provides build acoustic testing and analysis according to ISO 16283 and ISO 10140 standards.
3. Sound Power Mode:This module provides sound power measurements according to ISO 3740 standard.
4. Home Appliance Mode:This module provides the laboratory testing according to ISO 3822 standard for home appliance and equipment with water supply.
Measurement System Nor850
l Acoustic Camera
Nor848B Hextile is a microphone array with 128 MEMs microphone, and it can show the location of a noise source in a picture. This can be used to find the noise source, the reflection surfaces and the leaking spot of a wall. Due the limitation of beamforming technology, it is common for an acoustic camera to pinpoint the location of a low frequency noise source. In order to improve the performance of a Nor848B system in detecting a low frequency noise source, the Nor848B Multitile is designed by combining 3 Nor848B Hextile with a special tripod to form a larger array. The tripod can be extended so the size of a Nor848B Multitile can be larger for low frequency measurement.
A Nor848B Hextile is 41cm x 48cm, ψ48cm in size, and weighs 3kg. The sampling rate of the microphones is 44.1kHz, and can measure from 9dB(system) to 120dB. The noise localization frequency of a Nor848B Hextile is from 410Hz – 20kHz, and it can measure the frequency down to 120Hz using a Nor848B Multitile system in LF mode.
