Thermal
Stress Screening uses accelerated stimulus techniques, within strength
extremes of designed products, causing potentially defective devices
to fail and making them easy to detect.
It prevents from failure
when product is subjected to real environmental stress conditions
during operating or transportation process, and avoids unnecessary
maintenance costs and commercial loss.
This system generates
linear and rapid temperature changes within the product and is different
from the HALT system using liquid Nitrogen. Temperature and mechanical
stresses can be applied simultaneously to advanced screen the product's
potential defects by accommodating a vibration shaker below the
thermal chamber.
MTBF or MTTF of products
are significantly increased and hence reducing the maintenance costs
and enhancing the product's reputation as 100% of a group of product
is subjected to environmental stimulus. |
